Jennifer Sayre

Jennifer Sayre has appeared with Apollo's Fire, Chanticleer, Chatham Baroque, Los Angles Baroque Orchestra, Magnificat Baroque of San Fransisco, and New York Ensemble for Early Music. Solo recitals span from Trinity Cathedral, San Jose, CA, to Fundacíon Juan March, Madrid, Spain. She has performed at the Salou International Baroque Festival, Salou, Spain; the symposium Renaissance and Baroque Spanish Poetry and Music, Denver, CO; and was a featured recitalist and panelist at Simposio del arpa español, Toledo, Spain. Ms. Sayre has researched 16th and 17th century harp techniques and music at the Biblioteca National, Madrid, and El Escorial, San Lorenzo. Her radio broadcasts include Artists in Concert on WQXR, New York, and the nationally-broadcast Millenium of Music on WETA, Washington, DC. Her solo recording, Harp Music of the Americas,is issued by Musical Heritage Society. Ms. Sayre has also recorded with Apollo's Fire, Chanticleer, and New York Ensemble for Early Music. Her most recent solo recording is Renaissance Soul: Music of Antonio de Cabezón. She is currently adjunct faculty in the music departments of at Cuesta College and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
