Scott Andrews
Clarinet
Scott Andrews is the Principal Clarinetist of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. He was also a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra from 1995-2006, during which time he served as chairman of the Woodwind Department at Boston Conservatory and on faculty at the Tanglewood Music Center. He has participated for many years at the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival, and performed with the Mito Chamber Orchestra. In addition, he has taught at the Aspen, Pacific, and Interlochen Music Festivals. A native of Virginia, Andrews attended the Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts, the Interlochen Music Center, and New England Conservatory, where he was a clarinet student of Harold Wright.
