Isabel Hagen
Stand-Up Comedian
Isabel Hagen is a nationally touring stand-up comedian and classically trained violist. As a comedian, she has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and was a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs festival in Montréal.
Isabel started stand-up right after earning her Bachelors and Masters degrees in viola performance from the Juilliard School. As a musician, she has performed as a touring member of the band Vampire Weekend, and has also performed and worked with numerous artists such as Ed Sheeran, Max Richter, The National, and Steve Reich.
Isabel is also a filmmaker, and her debut feature film ON A STRING, which she wrote, directed, and starred in, Premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival where it won Best Screenplay in a U.S. Narrative Feature.
