Luc Kleiner
Bass-Baritone
Luc Kleiner, "gentle and emotive" baritone (Singerpreneur), is sought after for his expertise in both early and new vocal music. Kleiner performed Schoenberg’s Ode to Napoleon, as well as Dylan Mattingly’s The Bakkhai with Jacaranda Music, then went on to solo in LA Philharmonic’s premiere of Mattingly’s six-hour opera, Stranger Love, for which Kleiner was dubbed “darkly seductive” by The New York Times. Luc has recorded for artists such as Vampire Weekend, Melanie Martinez, Miley Cyrus, and The Weeknd, and has sung on over 30 film/television soundtracks. Luc is a faculty member at Pomona College and keeps busy as a composer/arranger.
