Noam Elkies

Noam is a professor of mathematics at Harvard and the youngest person ever tenured at the University. Alongside his mathematical career, Noam has been playing the piano and composing since the age of three. His solo performances include Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 with the Metamorphosen Chamber Orchestra, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with Harvard’s Bach Society Orchestra, and his own Rondo Concertante with the Boston Youth Symphony in Symphony Hall.
