San Luis Obispo

Nicknamed the "happiest city in America" by Oprah, San Luis Obispo is tucked between the Coast Range and the Pacific Ocean just off of US-101 and the Pacific Coast Highway.  It is home to the historic Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa and a world-famous Farmer's Market which takes place every Thursday night of the year.  You can enjoy creek-side dining at one of the area's several farm-to-table restaurants, go wine tasting in the nearby Edna Valley, or hike a trail up one of the Nine Sisters mountains.
