On a String (2025), directed by and starring Juilliard-trained violist Isabel Hagen, is an indie comedy-drama about a struggling musician navigating New York City's freelance scene. While living with her parents, Isabel plays low-end gigs, dealing with toxic ex-boyfriends and artistic apathy while deciding whether to pursue a major orchestra audition.
Presented in collaboration with the SLO International Film Festival.
