Poets Caleb Nichols and Anna Zumbahlen lead this free reading of their original works.

CALEB NICHOLS
Caleb Nichols is the Poet Laureate of San Luis Obispo County, California. They are a poet and a musician with publications on both sides of the Atlantic, writing about queerness and ecology. Their latest chapbook, One For Sorrow, Two For Joy, was published in 2024 by UK Press Broken Sleep, and their debut full length collection is forthcoming from Harbor Editions in October 2026.

ANNA ZUMBAHLEN
Anna Zumbahlen is a poet living in Southern California. She holds a PhD in English & Literary Arts from the University of Denver and an MFA from the University of Montana. Zumbahlen’s debut collection Surety traverses memory while attending to the landscape of northwestern Iowa during a year that brought ecopolitical tensions to the surface of daily life in a small town.
