Taimane translates to "diamond" from Samoan and perfectly reflects the different facets of her nature. Whether delicately finger-picking through Bach or radically ripping through Led Zeppelin, Taimane has the ability to morph genres – from classical to rock to flamenco – and stretch her instrument far beyond the familiar melodies of Hawai`i, where she grew up.
When Don Ho caught wind of the talented teen, he invited her to join him as part of his venerable variety show at the Waikiki Beachcomber, further fueling Taimane’s desire to perform for and connect with audiences. In addition to performing her own distinctive versions of well-known pieces, Taimane weaves in original compositions that are as far ranging as her musical tastes. With the fierceness of a rocker, and the grace of a dancer, Taimane and her music are wowing ever-larger audiences. She lights up rooms wherever she goes, sparkling like the diamond that she is.

ARRIVAL TIME: the gates to See Canyon Fruit Ranch will open at 3:00 PM. Please do not arrive earlier than that as cars lining up on the road creates a traffic hazard.
DIRECTIONS & LOCATION: See Canyon Fruit Ranch is located at 2345 See Canyon Road, San Luis Obispo. Click Here for directions via Google Maps. We ask that you please carpool to maximize available parking.
PARKING: You will be directed to a parking spot among the apple trees by event staff. ADA parking is provided closer to the event location. You may drop mobility-impaired patrons off close to the event entrance and then park your vehicle. Please do not leave vehicles unattended in the drop off zone.
TICKETS & SEATING:
- Table Seating: patrons seated at tables eight towards the front of the lawn. Parties smaller than eight patrons will be seated with another parties. Does not include food or drink. Table seating has sold out.
- Lawn Seating: bring your own outdoor chair or blanket. Higher-back chairs will be asked to move farther back to prevent blocking the view of others. Chairs are not provided.
- Your ticket will either indicate TABLE or LAWN. Ushers will direct you to the appropriate section when you arrive.
FOOD & DRINK: A variety of light snacks and beverages, will be available for purchase at the event. The menu will include Back Porch Bakery cookies, sodas, sparkling water, Open Water bottled water, coffee, and a selection of beer and wines. Purchase or bring your reusable Festival Mozaic wine tumbler to save $5 on your glass of wine! You are permitted to bring own food and drinks, including wine or beer.
PICNIC ORDERS: Our friends at the Wandering Eats will be offering the option to preorder a boxed picnic dinner for pick up at the event, with a few different selections. Information on ordering will be announced soon.
ANIMALS: For the safety of all of our patrons, staff, and performers, pets or animals are not allowed at this event (other than service animals).
