Scott Yoo is joined by violist Jenni Seo, cellist Alexander Hersh, and pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute for the Spring 2027 edition of the San Luis Obispo Music Festival! Spanning over three sequential events, the Festival will explore music by Beethoven and Fauré, as well as a string trio by living American composer Bruce van Nostrand that has not been performed since its premiere in 1964. Attend all three events for an immersive musical experience.

Join the artists for two NOTEable Insights on Thursday and Friday, in which they will dive into the historical context and musical elements of the pieces, combining interactive discussion with performance of excerpts from the music. This will include a special presentation by San Luis Obispo local Paul Severtson, a personal friend of composer van Nostrand and a performer of in the Trio’s world premiere. Then attend the culminating Spring Chamber Music Concert on Saturday to round out the weekend with full performances of each piece.
