Brian moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly in 1969. He began his involvement with Festival Mozaic in its founding year, and has been the festival's staff photographer since 2009. Brian is a two-time graduate of Cal Poly, and an Emeritus Professor of Graphic Communication, having retired from the university in 2020. He also serves as a tenor and member of the Board of Directors of the SLO Master Chorale and volunteers for many other organizations in our community.
