John is a local professional with a passion for music and photography. Returning to the Central Coast after graduating with a degree in Philosophy from Humboldt State University, he has been working at Cal Poly SLO in Applications Administration for ITS since 2019. John has been playing music for thirty years, mostly guitar and bass for the past twenty years in punk and metal bands, but other favorites include mandolin and a newly acquired Irish bouzouki. He started volunteering with Festival Mozaic in 2024 (around the time he proposed to Mozaic's Coordinator for Social Media and Volunteers) applying his background in event photography. John is an enthusiastic cyclist, avid reader, proud uncle, dedicated dog/cat dad, and devoted future husband.
