A resident of South San Luis Obispo County since 2016, Kim brings a rich appreciation for cultural diversity and the arts to her community. Originally from Redondo Beach, she grew up immersed in the vibrant soundscape of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, developing an early love for everything from mariachi and gospel to classical music and Nisei Week festivities. Kim is a graduate of USC, where she earned both her undergraduate and law degrees before building a career as a civil trial attorney specializing in professional negligence defense. Now an avid supporter of the arts on the Central Coast, she and her wife are enthusiastic patrons of Festival Mozaic.
