Rita Casaverde is Executive Director of Diversity Coalition San Luis Obispo County, where she builds partnerships and leads initiatives that bring nonprofits, businesses, government, and residents together to strengthen the community. Originally from Lima, Peru, her career has spanned environmental conservation, technology, public service, and nonprofit leadership, including service in the office of Congressman Salud Carbajal. She received a United Nations Green Youth Award for conservation work in the Andes of Peru.
