Welcome to Festival Mozaic’s 2026 San Luis Obispo Summer Music & Arts Festival.

Each summer, we bring together exceptional artists and an engaged community to explore music and the arts with curiosity, rigor, and joy. The 2026 season continues this mission, pairing timeless masterworks with contemporary voices in performances designed for meaningful listening and discovery.

This year carries added significance as our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. In honor of this milestone, Festival Mozaic proudly features American composers with strong ties to California, presented in collaboration with the Coastal Awakening project. Their works reflect the diversity, innovation, and independent spirit that continue to shape our cultural landscape.

Throughout the Festival, audiences can experience a wide range of programs, including chamber music, orchestral concerts, family events, lectures, and more. We are proud to collaborate with many local arts organizations to present dancers, choirs, poets, films, and contemporary artists. Our Notable Encounters and Community Midday Concerts provide opportunities to engage more deeply with the music and the creative process.
