The 2025 Summer Music Festival comes to a close with this thrilling performance by the Festival Mozaic Orchestra. Beethoven's exciting Leonore Overture opens the concert, followed by the Nielsen Flute Concerto with Alice K. Dade as soloist. The second half of the program will feature Prokofiev's darkly romantic suite inspired by Romeo and Juliet.

DOORS OPEN: 6:15 PM

RUNTIME: The concert will begin at 7:30 PM and will last approximately 2 hours, with a 20-minute intermission.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING: The Performing Arts Center SLO is located on the Cal Poly University campus. Click here for directions via Google Maps. Ample free parking is available in the Grand Avenue Parking Structure. You will be directed into the structure by event staff. Parking permits are NOT required at Festival Mozaic concerts and you may park in any spot, even if it is labeled STAFF.

ADA PARKING: If you have mobility impaired patrons, you may drop off in the Circle Driveway of the Performing Arts Center before heading to park. ADA Parking is available on the top level of the Parking Structure with a valid Handicapped/ADA placard or hanging tag.

LECTURE: We hope you will join us for the free Pre-Concert Lecture with Dr. Alyson McLamore at 6:30 PM on the Main Stage. It will last about 30 minutes.

SEATING/TICKETS: Your tickets will be scanned before entering the lobby. Please print your tickets or be prepared to display them on your mobile device. If you forget your tickets, you may visit the box office to have them reprinted. The box office opens 90 minutes prior to the show. Your ticket will indicate a row and seat number. Once your ticket is scanned and you enter the lobby, an usher will assist you in finding your seat.

MERCHANDISE: Please visit the merchandise table in the lobby to browse a selection of Festival Mozaic merchandise and apparel, 50th Anniversary Commemorative Books, and recordings by the performers.

CONCESSIONS: A variety of light snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and wines will be available for purchase at the PAC's concessions stand Ovations.  Please note that food is not allowed inside the theater, but you may bring beverages to your seat. Purchase or bring your reusable Festival Mozaic wine tumbler to save $5 on your glass of wine!
