ARRIVAL TIME: the gates to Serra Chapel will open at 6:00 PM, so please do not arrive any earlier than that! Shuttles from parking to the venue will begin operating at 6:00 PM.
DIRECTIONS & LOCATION: Serra Chapel (formerly known as Chapel Hill) is located on McMillan Canyon Road near Highway 46 in Shandon. There is no exact street address, but you can Click Here for directions via Google Maps. We ask that you please carpool to maximize available parking.
PARKING: There are two dirt parking lots - one located at the bottom of the hill and one at the top of the hill. Both lots require a walk or shuttle ride to the Chapel. You will be directed to a parking spot by event staff and then you will board a shuttle bus to drive you to the Chapel, or you can choose to walk if you wish. ADA parking is provided at the top of the hill closer to the Chapel itself. You may drop mobility-impaired patrons off close to the Chapel and then park your vehicle. Please do not leave vehicles unattended in the drop off zone.
SEATING OPTIONS:
- Indoor seating is provided on backless wooden benches. You may wish to bring a seat cushion or pad. The doors to the Chapel will open approximately 15 minutes before the concert begins for you to find your seat. It is first-come, first-served.
- Outside Seating: You may bring your own outdoor chair. Higher-back chairs will be asked to move farther back to prevent blocking the view of others. Please ensure your chairs have caps on the legs or place a blanket underneath so they do not scratch the antique tile. Some backless wooden benches are also provided in the center of the patio.
FOOD & DRINK: A variety of light snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and Central Coast wines will be available for purchase at the event. The menu will include Back Porch Bakery cookies, sodas, sparkling water, Open Water bottled water, coffee, and a selection of wines. There are some areas to picnic around the Chapel and among the vineyards, but food and drinks are not allowed onto the patio, except for water. Purchase or bring your reusable Festival Mozaic wine tumbler to save $5 on your glass of wine! You are permitted to bring own food and drinks, including wine or beer.
PICNIC ORDERS: Our friends at the House of Bread will be offering the option to preorder a boxed picnic dinner for pick up at the event, which will include a sandwich, salad, and cookie. Ordering information will be posted here and emailed to event attendees closer to the date of the event.
ANIMALS: For the safety of all of our patrons, staff, and performers, pets or animals are not allowed at this event (other than service animals).
